There are no staff permanently on site. A staff member will meet you at the facility at your scheduled check-in time, so please come directly to the venue.

  • About 10 minutes via Prefectural Route 237 from Tohoku Expressway, Hiraizumi-Maeza I.C.
  • About 20 minutes toward Hiraizumi from Tohoku Expressway, Ichinoseki I.C.
  • Approximately 30 minutes on foot from JR Hiraizumi Station

*The facility is located a bit far from Hiraizumi Station, so arriving by car is recommended. Free parking is available on site for up to 5 vehicles.

*Complimentary shuttle service is available between Ichinoseki Station ⇔ Hiraizumi Club or Hiraizumi Station ⇔ Hiraizumi Club. Please contact us in advance if you wish to use this service.

Hiraizumi Club — Private Traditional Villa Stay

Nestled at the foot of Mount Tabashine in the World Heritage town of Hiraizumi, this renovated 150-year-old Japanese house offers an exclusive stay for one group per day. Surrounded by tranquil rice fields and rural scenery, it provides a refined retreat where time flows gently and tradition lives on.

Inside, guests can relax on the veranda, unwind in the spacious tatami lounge, or enjoy a soothing soak in the hinoki cypress bath. The interior blends nostalgic charm with serene comfort, creating a timeless space that soothes both body and mind.

Hiraizumi is home to numerous UNESCO World Heritage and cultural sites, including the renowned Chuson-ji Temple, and preserves the deep traditions of northeastern Japan. Throughout the villa, guests can experience the region’s artistry firsthand through local crafts such as Nanbu ironware, Hidehira lacquerware, and Iwayado Chest of Drawers.

■Accommodation
Hiraizumi Club -farm&resort- is a private, one-group-per-day villa stay in a beautifully renovated 150-year-old Japanese house. Blending the timeless charm of traditional Japanese architecture with modern comfort, the villa offers a serene atmosphere that evokes a sense of nostalgia and tranquility.
The house features four bedrooms – one Western-style room and three Japanese-style rooms. Morning light gently pours through the spacious veranda, welcoming the start of a new day. The Western-style bedroom can be locked, allowing guests to enjoy complete privacy and relaxation.
There are two types of baths: a Hinoki (cypress) bath and a modern unit bath. Immerse yourself in the soothing warmth and the gentle fragrance of natural cypress for a deeply relaxing experience.

After learning about the local specialty “Hatto-jiru,” you will experience making it yourself — tearing the dough and adding it directly into the pot, then enjoying the freshly cooked soup right away.
Other optional programs are also available, such as a private performance of the traditional “Nanbu Kagura” dance and cultural experiences to explore the history of Hiraizumi. Please contact us for more details.

•Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the entire facility, including the use of electronic cigarettes. Please use the designated smoking area outdoors.

•Please refrain from using incense or any items that may leave a lingering scent.

•There are limited places nearby where you can purchase groceries or daily necessities, so please buy any food ingredients or alcoholic beverages you may need in advance.

•The road leading to the facility includes some narrow and winding sections; please drive carefully if you are coming by car.

•Upon request, we can arrange complimentary shuttle service between Ichinoseki Station and Hiraizumi Club, or between Hiraizumi Station and Hiraizumi Club. Please feel free to contact us for arrangements.
