Kazenosawa is a complex featuring buildings which are registered national Tangible Cultural Properties. Its facilities include a hotel, restaurant, tea ceremony room, meditation room, and satoyama field. Traditional kominka houses from 200 years ago have been restored, preserving the scenery of life here as it once was. These kominka have been transformed in a way that combines historical charm with modern comforts.
History and nature, art and stillness—all interweave at Kazenosawa, a hidden retreat where you can reset your priorities and spend quality time with those precious to you. Enjoy your special time in seclusion—use is limited to 1 group per day.
- Course Details
An expansive 5,000 tsubo (about 16,550 m2) property with a total of 5 buildings which can be chartered for private use. We offer overnight stays in beautiful surroundings making use of the atmosphere of the original on-site museum and site-specific artworks.
With meals showcasing seasonal local ingredients, enjoy a sense of the season and time with your travel companions to the fullest.Amenities:
Toothbrushes, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hair dryer, lotion, moisturizer, yukata, etc.
