This is a special experience led by Mr. Futoshi Aizawa, who is considered one of the best nori fishermen in Japan, and was the youngest fisherman to supply nori to the Imperial Household.
Having continued work in harmony with the sea and produce high-quality nori, Mr. Aizawa is able to share not only nori production but also the “richness of the sea,” and its relationship with the environment.
Mr. Aizawa is devoted to producing nori that can be eaten safely by everyone from children to the elderly, without using any seasonings or additives.
While tasting the high-quality nori produced by Mr. Aizawa, participants can reflect on the importance and interconnectedness of the sea, nature.

Factory Tour: Learn about the nori production process and the company’s craftsmanship while touring the factory. You can experience the behind-the-scenes process of making nori, an essential ingredient in Japanese cuisine.Nori Sheet Making Experience: Experience making nori by pouring fresh raw nori into a wooden frame to form a sheet.
Please note that drying takes time. After the experience, please allow the nori to dry completely before eating.Nori Roasting Experience: Experience roasting dried nori to create roasted nori sheets.
Nori Lecture & Tasting: While tasting nori actually produced by Mr. Aizawa, you will learn about the production process and the natural environment surrounding nori cultivation. Enjoy the natural flavor of additive-free nori and discover the depth of this traditional Japanese food.
Souvenir Purchase: Souvenirs are available for purchase after the tour and experiences.
