Plan Details

Tucked away in a primeval beech forest in the southwestern foothills of Mount Kurikoma at an elevation of 700 meters, lies the lamplit inn Yubama Onsen Miura Ryokan.

From the parking lot, tread 10 minutes along a mountain path to reach this secluded hot springs inn.

Cell phone signals do not reach here, nor is there television. Use of the house-generated electricity is kept to a minimum, and at night guests live by the light of gaslit lamps. Enjoy passing an evening feeling close to nature and removed from digital life. Chat with friends and family, letting your thoughts wander freely, or engage in quiet self-reflection. While enjoying the lamps and beechwood fragrances, how about indulging in a digital detox of the kind you can experience only here?
